Four Ways to Build

Start with the Building Series That Fits Your Plans

You do not need every detail settled before you begin. First decide whether your project fits one of our established Classic or Signature models or requires the greater flexibility of a Custom Building, Barn or Garage.

01 · Classic Series

Traditional Appalachian Storage Profiles

Three established shed designs with straightforward model-specific pricing calculators, multiple sizes and exterior choices.

02 · Signature Sheds & Small Buildings

Greater Architectural Presence & Flexibility

Two distinctive premium profiles with higher walls, architectural rooflines and greater flexibility for storage and specialty backyard uses.

03 · Custom Buildings

Designed Around How You Want to Live, Work or Play

Custom buildings begin with your intended use, property and architectural direction rather than a standardized model and price calculator.

04 · Barns & Garages

Larger Buildings for Vehicles, Equipment & Work

When a shed is not enough, barns and garages provide the additional space needed for vehicles, equipment, workshops and larger property needs.

Appalachian Classic Series

Three Traditional Profiles. Three Pricing Calculators.

The Classic Series gives you three established Appalachian-inspired shed profiles with transparent model-specific pricing. Choose the roofline and size that fit your property, then use the applicable pricing calculator to compare siding and standard-build pricing.

  • Front-wall door and window placement

Lean-To Roof Profile

  • 3/12 roof pitch
  • 6′5″ lower front wall height
  • Appropriately sized double door included

Signature Sheds & Small Buildings

More Than Storage. Architecture for the Backyard.

Signature Buildings combine premium built-on-site construction with higher wall profiles, distinctive roof architecture, adaptable door and window layouts and greater flexibility. The Signature Series contains two established building profiles.

Appalachian Custom Buildings

Your Property. Your Purpose. Your Building.

Custom Buildings do not begin with a standardized model or price calculator. They begin with what you want the building to accomplish, the property where it will be built and the architectural character you want it to have.

These examples illustrate three directions a custom Appalachian building can take. They are starting points for ideas—not fixed packages or standardized prices.

Example 01 · Live

Cottage-Style Backyard Retreat

Create a welcoming backyard destination for relaxation, hobbies, exercise, occasional guests or simply more room for the life you enjoy.

Example 02 · Work

Appalachian Workshop or Home Office

Plan a focused place for work, tools, projects or creative activity with doors, windows, circulation and storage arranged around how the building will actually be used.

Example 03 · Play

Pool House or Backyard Entertainment Building

Create a dedicated place for pool days, hobbies, music, games and relaxed time with family and friends while keeping storage and everyday function carefully organized.

Custom Buildings · Project-Specific Pricing

Custom Buildings do not use a standardized online pricing calculator. Final pricing is developed after the intended use, dimensions, architectural features, access, site conditions and requested options are understood.

Appalachian Style Barns & Garages

When a Shed Is Not Enough, Build the Space You Need.

Barns and garages provide the additional size, access and structural flexibility needed when storage, work, equipment or vehicles have outgrown the role of a conventional backyard shed.

These are representative project types rather than fixed-price models. Footprint, access, doors, windows, wall height, roofline, siding and intended use are developed around the individual project.

Example 01 · Vehicle Storage

Appalachian Barn-Style Garage

A larger building planned around automobile, motorcycle, recreational vehicle or other vehicle-storage requirements with practical access and useful interior space.

Example 02 · Work & Equipment

Workshop & Equipment Building

Create the additional room required for tools, equipment, active projects and organized work areas while planning access around the equipment the building must serve.

Example 03 · Farm & Property

Appalachian Farm & Utility Barn

A barn-scale structure can provide flexible space for property equipment, utility needs, agricultural support and other uses requiring more capacity than a smaller shed.

Barns & Garages · Project-Specific Pricing

Barns and garages do not use standardized online pricing calculators. Pricing is developed around the building size, structural requirements, vehicle or equipment access, site conditions, architectural details and final written scope.

From Building Selection to Final Project

What Happens After You Choose a Building?

Classic and Signature models with established specifications can begin with an online pricing calculator. Custom Buildings, Barns and Garages require a project-specific conversation before a written price can be established.

Step 01

Choose the Series

Decide whether your needs best fit a Classic model, Signature building, Custom project, Barn or Garage.

Step 02

Establish Size & Pricing

Use the applicable model calculator where available or begin a project-specific conversation for custom work.

Step 03

Review Useful Options

Consider doors, windows, siding, access, storage and other improvements according to how the building will be used.

Step 04

Confirm the Property

Review placement, access, site preparation and project requirements before the final written scope and price.

Not Sure Which Building Fits Best?

You do not need to solve the entire project before contacting us. Tell Edwin what you want the building to accomplish, approximately how large it needs to be and where you are considering placing it. We can help determine which of the four building series makes the most sense before you spend time comparing options that do not fit.
