The roofline gives the building its storybook cottage character, sheds Cincinnati rain and snow efficiently, and makes optional loft storage possible without expanding the base of the structure.

The floor system starts with YellaWood® 6×6 pressure-treated grade beams placed over a 10-mil moisture barrier. 2×6 pressure-treated floor joists are set 16" on center with a double center beam, and the subfloor is 3/4" 7-ply pressure-treated plywood. Built for potting benches, craft tables, garden tools, seating, storage, and daily use. No OSB. Ever.
