The Pine Ridge Bunkie uses a steep traditional gable roofline to create the mountain-cabin profile and the vertical space needed for a true sleeping loft above the main floor. The roof pitch sheds Ohio weather efficiently, creates memorable exterior character, and helps the upper level feel useful rather than like a crawl-in storage shelf.

The floor system starts with YellaWood® 6×6 pressure-treated grade beams placed over a 10-mil moisture barrier. 2×6 pressure-treated floor joists are set 16″ on center with a double center beam, and the subfloor is 3/4″ 7-ply pressure-treated plywood. Built for seating, desks, studio equipment, guest furniture, creative tools, and everyday cabin use. No OSB. Ever.
