Grandpa Holt’s Workshop uses a steep 9/12 pitched roof to create stronger architectural presence, better weather shedding, and a more open interior feel than a low utility roof. The roofline gives the workshop a true backyard-building profile while supporting overhead storage potential, better proportions, and a space that feels more comfortable for focused work.

6×6 PT Beams. Built for Benches, Tools, and Real Work.
The floor system starts with YellaWood® 6×6 pressure-treated grade beams placed over a 10-mil moisture barrier. 2×6 pressure-treated floor joists are set 16″ on center with a double center beam, and the subfloor is 3/4″ 7-ply pressure-treated plywood. Built for workbenches, tool cabinets, materials, hobby equipment, office furniture, and serious daily use. No OSB. Ever.

Every build includes a 30-year Appalachian Sheds Inc. structural warranty, along with applicable manufacturer warranties for siding, roofing, windows, doors, and related components. Exterior wood surfaces, porch elements, trim, and other exposed materials must be sealed, painted, stained, or clear-coated within 30 days to maintain warranty protection.
